“Love this excellent product for active families”

By Ronald Romanik

“This product is an indispensable item for child rearing – essential for active parents who want to hike and have an older, larger child who is too big for the currently available carrier setups. It is intuitive, easy to adjust, and very well made. It puts an end to the misery of hiking and carrying a child when they run out of steam.”

“Awesome! Our daughter is 8”

By Dawn B.

“Awesome! Our daughter is 8 and has dyskinetic cerebral palsy and hypotonia. She can walk short distances but tires quickly. This backpack is a great option for our family. We can all go hiking together now without having to strain our backs trying to carry her for portions of the hike, Love it! Super fast shipping as well.”

“The PiggyBackPack allows me to explore again!”

By Amanda

“The PiggyBackPack is great! I am a quadriplegic and use a wheelchair so not everywhere is accessible to me… With the PiggyBackPack possibilities are endless again as my boyfriend can strap me on his back and take me with him now.”

“Great product! I wish I’d thought of it”

By Paul Mastin

“When we were planning a trip to Colorado, I wanted to go on some hikes, but my daughter is unable to walk. I knew her wheelchair would be impossible to navigate the mountain trails. She had long ago surpassed the weight limits of other carriers. Thankfully I ran across the PiggyBackPack. If I were creative and innovative enough to come up with a solution to the problem of carrying my daughter over a long distance, this would be it. I loved taking my daughter out on the trails. I never would have gotten her there without the PiggyBackPack. It’s a great product, solidly built, and comfortable for both the passenger and the beast of burden.”

“Works great for adults with paraplegia”

By Mutt

I bought this through the website last year and it’s been great. My wife has paraplegia so I use this to carry her on trail paths that would be difficult to use with her manual wheelchair. We took it with us on a trip to Orcas Island, WA and it worked great. She weighs about 115lbs and is 5’9 and we never feel like the backpack will fail, it’s pretty strong. Jeff, the founder of the company, was also very helpful with some of the questions I had before I purchased it.

“Exactly what I had been looking for”

By KL

“This pack is great – It’s the only one I’ve been able to find like it. I have cystic fibrosis and over the years my lung function has declined… and my boyfriend would always carry me up hills if we needed to. He talked about rigging something up so he could carry me, and I decided to go online and see if anyone had done it already. I found this, and we bought one. It’s EXACTLY what we wanted – we were able to use it for hikes, and our first trip was up 900ft in Maine, a steady incline that I haven’t been able to climb for years. It was amazing to be at the top. I weigh 110lbs and my boyfriend is 5′ 10” and is in good shape and felt that carrying me was easy – more difficult on the steep inclines of course – but comfortable the whole way around. It is really comfortable to sit in and SO much easier then just a “regular” piggy back where you have to try so hard to hold on. This thing needs to be more popular!”

“A rugged pack that gets the job done”

By Feather

“I purchased this product straight from the seller. My wife was heading for a total knee replacement and couldn’t hike with me very far. So, I went online and found this backpack. We took it out a few times before she finally had her surgery. I weigh 170lbs and my wife weighs about 140lbs. I run, bike, and backpack a lot. On the first attempt the belt buckle broke. The seller immediately replaced it with an improved buckle, which lasted very well. The product is built to last, and the customer support is superb. When we went out for our hikes I would strap this on and wear it until she couldn’t walk. I would then carry her until she could resume hiking. I’m not going to say that it was easy – it was a workout! However, it got the job done and carrying a child should be no problem.”

“Paralyzed but still enjoying life”

By Naomi Clark

“I broke my back when I was 20 years old and suffered a T7 Spinal Cord injury leaving me paralyzed from the chest down. I purchased the PiggyBackPack so that my boyfriend could piggyback me more easily in inaccessible situations or hikes. This works so great! Keeps my butt up where it needs to be, which helps with the weight distribution and allows my boyfriend to use less energy. I am 5’4” and weigh 110lbs. The PiggyBackPack is so lightweight and easy to put on and take off. We wish the shoulder straps were beefier and had more padding, but if I was the weight of a child this would be perfect. This product enables my boyfriend and I to get out and experience hiking together.”

“I love it!!”

By Heather

“Last week I took my kids to Red River Gorge in Kentucky to test it out and walked over Natural Bridge. We also took a day trip kayaking. The backpack made it so much easier then having to set my son down, lift him, carry him somewhere, (struggling because he’s so tall) and repeating this over and over. I just threw it in a bag and strapped it to the back of the kayak when we weren’t using it. My favorite purchase thus far that allows my son to do everything. Thank you so much!! I highly recommend this for anyone who’s as stubborn as I am and I have many more trips I’m planning on taking this on.”

Quote from “New Mobility; Life Beyond Wheels”

By Kaitlyn and Greg

“Hiking in Sedona is a shared passion made possible with the PiggyBackPack”

Kaitlyn told the magazine that since they purchased the specialized backpack, there are not many places the two can’t go. The PiggyBackPack transfers most of the passengers weight to the carrier’s hips, which allows Kaitlyn and Greg to hike to their hearts content.
